Apartment 404 Episode 7 Review: Disappearing University Students and Surprise Guests!

Apartment 404 Episode 7 Recap

Taking place in 2011, this episode has our cast as freshmen in university. There is a conspiracy taking place on the campus but before anyone can even think about what is happening, they are separated into two clubs and taken for extracurricular tasks. Jennie, Jae-suk and Se-chan dance their hearts out with Aiki while Na-ra, Tae-hyun and Jung-ha join the band club with DickPunks and Tae-hyun sings a song, mesmerising everyone around.

However, there are also bursts of action in the midst of the fun and games as the clues are presented in a very interesting and new way. Students disappear from classrooms, Woo-il turns into a senior and then a teaching assistant and finally the lunch lady and the crew must run around the huge university to figure out the secrets of 2011.

This week’s games are ‘Relay Singing with Animal Sounds’ and ‘Say Two Things Each’. In the first one, Na-ra has to relay a melody as a dolphin – it’s going to live in my mind rent-free from now on.

Either way, in the end, Jung-ha and Se-chan are kidnapped like the university students and the others have to figure out where they are and then correctly guess the password from the clues to rescue their teammates.

Apartment 404 Episode 7 Review

What an entertaining episode this has been. This week, everyone has been energetic and very entertaining and everyone running around the campus has been so cute to watch. On top of that, the university theme really makes everyone’s personalities shine as all the participants take part in the journey in one way or another. The games were also very entertaining and, as I mentioned earlier, Na-ra singing like a dolphin is probably the most hilarious part of the episode.

Coming to the case, this is one of the better ones of the lot and it’s also made very well, production-wise. The expanse of the university is well utilised and the clues are scattered really well, so much so that you sit at the edge of your seats to figure out what is happening. With two guest appearances, audiences will be able to reminisce about these entertaining moments after the episode is done, especially because everyone gets on so well with each other. And let’s not even forget how sweet Woo-il was in this episode – the lunch lady was the best of his appearances!
